We have exciting news to share. As of September, 2025, our CCO Johan von Arronet has officially taken over the role of Nion CEO.

Since joining Nion in April, Johan has helped drive substantial changes in our positioning, sales process, and sales organisation in his role as Chief Commercial Officer. Now, he will guide Nion as CEO while continuing to lead our commercial efforts.

A message from Johan

“After years of leading commercial strategy and global sales teams, I’m thrilled to step into this new chapter, working alongside an incredible team to drive innovation, growth, and impact. Nion is entering a pivotal phase, and I’m deeply committed to building on our strong foundation while exploring new opportunities that push boundaries and create real value.Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. Simon Forshaw becomes COO

This transition also brings good news for Simon Forshaw. After 15 years building one of the founding companies, and a year as CEO of Nion, Simon Forshaw is looking forward to continue in the new role of COO to make sure to continue to build Nion as the best place to work for software developers and IT consultants, now and into the future.

“Having worked with Johan for the past 5 months I am very confident that this is the right change for Nion, to continue aligning the organisation towards growth. Johan is a confident leader with the commercial eye we need, and besides that, I think we work great together. I’m not going anywhere, and I am looking forward to working closely with Johan to build Nion into the company we all know it can be!”
