Inside Nion

One of my favourite things about Nion is the focus on competence development, giving us all the tools to create a better delivery. This helps us develop as both consultants and employees. Also, how we enable colleagues to do a better job, how we work with creating a good culture in the team and making space for everyone. It creates trust and we have fun working together. It’s also fun when you know you are doing a good job!

If you are driven and have ideas, you get responsibility. If it fits into our overall assignment there is a lot of freedom here. If you want to develop as a consultant and employee, Nion is simply a very good place to work.

Being a consultant gives variation in the work life, having freedom and flexibility with the customer in focus, where I get the chance to contribute with knowledge and being trusted to solve the customers’ problems.

Understanding what the customer needs even if they don’t know it yet and doing the right thing at the right moment is key, as well as providing deep technical knowledge and creating trust, thus building long-lasting relations. Communication with the customer is also essential in my work – it is business critical and really important to the project outcome and is something we focus on. We know that the better we are at communicating and cooperating, the better result and the happier and more satisfied our customers are.

Nion provides mix of knowledge and cross-competence from different parts of the world, which enables us to deliver cool and interesting things to our clients.

A very interesting aspect of working at Nion is the possibility to develop by changing assignments. There is a big focus on what you are looking for as an individual. You’re setting up structures that suits you and actively look for what is more fun and challenging for you as an employee. And not only from management, but colleagues also advice each other on interesting leads for new assignments.

If you are driven and have ideas, you get responsibility. If it fits into our overall assignment there is a lot of freedom here. If you want to develop as a consultant and employee, Nion is simply a very good place to work.

In my free time I enjoy a mix of motorcycles, computer games and gardening.
